With over ten years of experience at the intersection of socio-environmental impact, finance, and entrepreneurship, Pierre-Laurent Macridis contributes to the development and management of FCGM’s innovative impact solutions. He is committed to collaborating with various partners to design and market new tools that promote a just, sustainable, and equitable transition.
Formerly a private investment manager at Rally Assets, he invested in and supported new emerging impact fund managers in Canada and internationally, contributing to the development of a more inclusive and dynamic ecosystem.
Previously, he held various roles at Fondaction and its asset management subsidiary (FGA), where he played a central role in the design, marketing, and management of climate change-related impact funds. He also led the development and implementation of organizational ESG and impact policies and tools, in collaboration with several specialized consulting firms.
Known for his involvement in the sustainable finance ecosystem, he has served on several boards of directors and advisory committees for funds and companies with an environmental impact. He has also been a member of the Investor Council of the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) and, in 2022, Corporate Knights named him one of the Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders in Canada. In Quebec, he has been actively involved with Réseau Capital, CIVIC, and Finance Montréal, notably through youth committees and initiatives in sustainable finance, diversity, and inclusion.
Pierre-Laurent holds a master’s degree in renewable resource science and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (economics), both from McGill University.
