Sherry Larjani brings over a decade of real estate development and entrepreneurial experience to her role as President at Spotlight Development. She is responsible for leading the company’s visionary projects, ensuring that each development reflects innovation, inclusivity, and design excellence.
Since founding Spotlight Developments in 2010, Sherry has specialized in high-density residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, with a growing focus on pioneering affordable multi-residential housing through impact investments. She is spearheading collaborations with the non-profit housing community, working alongside organizations that provide housing subsidies, wrap-around services, and accessibility programs to ensure that affordable housing is not only built but sustainable and supportive.
A champion of collaboration and inclusivity in real estate, Sherry is known for breaking barriers in the industry, most notably partnering with Urban Capital to create Reina, Canada’s first all-female development team, which raised awareness about gender equality in real estate and construction.
Her leadership has driven award-winning projects that push the boundaries of urban development while prioritizing community impact. She continues to advocate for bold, forward-thinking solutions that address Ontario’s housing crisis while creating long-term social and economic benefits.
Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from TMU (formerly Ryerson University).
