Joelle Faulkner is the Founder and CEO of Area One Farms, Canada’s largest independent farmland investment manager. Area One partners with Canadian farmers to expand their farms and improve their land’s productivity. It has invested $800 million to bridge the gap between sustainable agriculture and equity, and has delivered investors returns of 8% to 14% while doing so. It is the only equity capital available to help Canadian farming families expand their farms, and they have supported 55 families and counting.
