Emily Yano brings over a decade of experience in finance and accounting. She graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2015 and began her career with KPMG in Edmonton, where she earned her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. In 2019, Emily joined the Alberta Cancer Foundation where she now holds the role of Director of Finance. In this role, she has played a pivotal part in advancing the Foundation’s mission, contributing to major initiatives such as the We Cross Cancer Campaign and OWN Cancer Campaign. Her expertise and leadership continue to drive financial strategy and stewardship in support of cancer research and care across Alberta.
