Sameer Chhetry has been with the Saskatoon Community Foundation since 2018, currently serving as the Director of Finance and Operations. Originally arriving in Saskatoon in 2003 as an international student, Sameer has since made the city his home and has been dedicated to serving its community.A Chartered Professional Accountant and a holder of a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan, Sameer brings over 20 years of financial expertise. His career spans both the charitable and banking sectors, where he has held various financial advisory roles, offering a unique, comprehensive understanding of both private and not-for-profit financial needs.Sameer is deeply engaged with several community organizations, serving as the Treasurer and a board member of the Station 20 West Community Centre, as well as a board member of the Nepalese Canadian Blood Donors Association. He enjoys teaching finance classes as a part-time lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan. Outside of work, Sameer is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying cricket and squash.
