Jamie Hall is the Chief Operating Officer for UHN Foundation, formerly Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation before it amalgamated with Toronto Rehab Foundation in April 2021. Jamie leads the Advancement Services team, which includes Finance, Information Technology & Business Intelligence, Investment Management, Gift Administration, Internal Audit, and Governance Support to the Board of Directors. Jamie joined UHN Foundation at the beginning of 2020.
Jamie is a Chartered Accountant and holds a CPA, CA designation with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. Jamie earned his CA designation while working with Ernst & Young before spending six years at Shoppers Drug Mart’s head office. At that point, Jamie joined the not-for-profit sector and hasn’t looked back.
Prior to UHN Foundation, Jamie has held senior C-Suite level positions with Branksome Hall (a private girls school in Toronto), CIFAR (Canadian Institute for Advanced Research which received a $125M grant from the federal government to advance AI in Canada), Sunnybrook Foundation, and 15 years with the MS Society of Canada.
Jamie has been responsible for overseeing the investment management of assets with each of the not-for-profit organizations he has worked for over his 25 years in this sector.
