Guillaume Bougie

Director and Portfolio Manager, Institutional Client Partnerships

As an account manager, Guillaume Bougie promotes DGAM’s services to prospective clients in the external institutional market. He plays a critical role in promoting DGAM’s extensive range of products in all asset classes while focusing on a solutions-based approach.

In his work, he puts the solid expertise he’s gained in sales management, valuation, financial analysis and portfolio management to good use. He is known for building constructive relationships with clients and partners from all walks of life.

Guillaume joined DGAM in May 2022 with more than 20 years of experience working in investment with institutional clients, which has given him in-depth expertise in both capital markets and asset management activities. He began his career working in global equity for Goldman Sachs in New York. He then followed up with roles of increasing responsibility at financial institutions based in Canada, including TD Securities, Credit Suisse and Laurentian Bank of Canada. At the time he joined DGAM, he was the main portfolio manager for institutional clients at Jarislowsky Frasier.

Guillaume is on the board of directors of Foundation of Stars, which supports pediatric research.

He graduated from HEC Montréal with a bachelor of business administration specializing in finance. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
