Anthony Battista is the Vice-President, Finance & Administration at the ALS Society of Canada (ALS Canada) where he is responsible for the Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Risk Management and Administration of the organization. Anthony is a senior executive with over 20 years of progressive experience with a proven track record of success motivating and leading diverse teams and building positive relationships at all levels to deliver value-added results. After starting his career in public accounting at KPMG LLP, Anthony has held senior leadership positions in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors including as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Baycrest Health Sciences and the Chief Financial Officer at the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto. Anthony is also an active volunteer in his community including as a member of the Board of Directors and Governance Committee Chair of Youth Without Shelter, a youth homeless shelter in Toronto, Ontario. Anthony graduated from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Chartered Professional.
